This Nils Lofgren expansive 10 disk retrospective box set from
Concord/Fantasy was just released for sale on August 5th. Frankly I can’t
add to what has already been written about his 45 year career in the below 4 articles.
So I’ll settle for describing our great packaging efforts (insert shameless
plug).

The box is turned edge construction utilizing 85# coated paper
with a film lamination applied. A mono-chromatic tip-on was applied to the face; it included UV gloss coating,
providing a gloss vs matte look against the background. A simple ribbon helps
the book and CD portfolio removal.

The book is 132 pages plus cover perfect bound using PUR
glue on the spine for long term strength. The cover is 17pt produced with an overall matte
UV coating for a subtle feel. The body is 85# matte adding to the luxurious
feel and quality image reproduction.

The CD portfolio of three different coated cover stock weights
creates a three layer sandwich holding 10 disks; 9 CDs and 1 DVD. Two of the CD’s
are of previously unreleased and rare material.

This box set has been a very successful seller this past
week; it might very well sell out.
