Cities of Darkscorch: Board game

It’s not the first band-based board game (a Motorhead themed trivia game was available for the 2013 holidays) but Numero Group does it again; producing an original game based on the label's 48th release; Warfaring Strangers: Darkscorch Canticles

You can read about this game on Numero’s website here:

Let’s talk about the construction and quality of Cities of Darkscorch;

* The board and setup box were constructed of strong 2.5mm chip. 2.5mm is approximately a 100pt chip, a rather substantial thickness. The lid is turned edge wrapped and film laminated with a luxurious matte finish.
* The game board is also 2.5mm chip, wrapped with a nice black textured book wrap and the litho printed game surface is mounted on top. Its die scored/cut/folded into a traditional quarter panel game board.
* The bingo style cards include those little red plastic sliders, 16 per card.
* Player pieces were constructed of wood, printed on one side and also function as 45rpm adapters; game also includes three custom shaped dies.
* Don’t forget the cheeky player cards (100 each of two sets)
* 6 cavity thermoformed tray
* 2 LPs included
* Slipcase CD
