Wings: Venus and Mars Deluxe Edition


We finished this project just in time for a November 2014 release. Another fine example of creative genius from Concord Music Group;  reissue Wings -  Venus and Mars.

The cover is printed in 4 color process and film laminated (aka PLM).   
 
This edition is a casebound book style, 128 pages + the 3 rear cavities + 4 vellum sleeves holding various ephemera. The body utilizes 100# uncoated text and smyth sewn construction for long lasting durability.

The 100# uncoated smooth text provided a warm subtle feel and look to these classic images from the mid-'70's.

First insert: 1975 Nashville Diary, 16 pages nicely center sewn and tipped in.

Second insert: Reproductions of Paul’s handwritten lyric sheets.

Third inserts: Hi-resolution desert image printed on photo realistic 
synthetic paper, a deck pass and V&M sticker.

Fourth Insert: Simple card invitation and poster for one of their 
last rehearsals at the EMI Elstree Studios in the UK.

This deluxe edition contains 2 CDs and 1 DVD, 
housed in three black chip cavities on the inside back cover. 


And to make things even more convenient, a V&M hi-resolution download card is nested in the inside back cover.
